DFI Presents: Queer Youth Training Program
Queer Youth Program
Specialized Training Track
The “DFI Difference” is a bold statement that declares that DFI staff, alumni, faculty, students, and supporters have an unyielding desire to learn how to aid underserved communities with mental health services.
In that spirit, Denver Family Institute is ecstatic to bring our 40+ years of experience training clinicians using an experiential, strength-based, systemic approach to mental health and apply it to this specialized training track. The educational opportunities provided in this program are ideal for those that engage with LGBTQIA+ youth, whether they be mental health providers; school counselors; youth-program providers; volunteers; and/or parents, guardians, & family members of queer youth.
